Preface
This year I did my internship at publishing house “Alma littera” which is located in Žirmūnai. It is a
part of the biggest publishing and book sale group in Baltic States “Alma littera” Group, established
in 2002. The Group also includes “ŠVIESA” publishers, bookshop network “Pegasas”, and The
Book Club. “Alma Littera’s” objective is to introduce the world’s best writers and most popular
books both to adults and children, therefore, translations from other languages take a large part in
our assortment. It has a reputation for providing readers with quality books in terms of content and
form. The headship of internship was Iveta Astrauskaitė. The internship in this organization lasted
for 4 weeks, from March 9- Th until April 3-rd.
