Why checkers, not high-tech?
•Nowadays, children and young people can choose
from a huge variety of after – school activities
and hobbies. There are a lot of trendy options,
such as dance, fashion, high-tech, and robotics,
but I was impressed by a game older than my
grandparents – checkers.
What I love most is that winning depends not on
luck, but on strategy and thinking.
Why do I play checkers?
•It develops logical and strategic thinking.
•It improves attention and concentration (which is
not always easy in the TikTok age).
•It teaches respect for your opponent.
•It strengthens mathematical and spatial understanding.
•It improves memory.
•All of this helps me achieve better learning results.
