Earth’s Structure 

Layers: Earth has a layered structure - crust,
mantle, outer core, inner core.
• Crust: Outermost layer where we live; made of
solid rock.
• Mantle: Semi-liquid, allowing tectonic plates to
move.
• Core: Composed mainly of iron and nickel;
generates Earth’s magnetic field.
